So this all began with an issue I was having with a plugin. I had installed ZeroBS CRM, then installed their CSV Importer add-on. And I imported a bunch of customers using that. Long-story short, they don’t have the option to outright delete customers through their plugin, and instead you need to do this manually. So I ran a query in phyMyAdmin to delete all references of zerobs_customer and anything else related to the customers that were added. Well when I went back to the website to attempt another import, the page came up with ‘Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.’ So I am really at a loss on this one. I tried renaming the plugins folder and the folder for the theme. Neither of those worked. I updated one of my user passwords manually in phyMyAdmin and logged in with it and it worked, but it still wouldn’t let me access the dashboard (So that didn’t work either really).

Did you make a backup before you ran your SQL query? I suspect you deleted more than you think.

However, it may be a cookies issue. log out of your site and delete all cookies associated with it, then login again to see if that helps.

Well the issue was solved, but not because we figured out what caused it. We used a backup from 2am this morning to get the site back up the way it was. I suspect that more may have been deleted than what I expected. I did check the individual records as I deleted them, but may have let a few slip by that I shouldn’t have. Thanks for your response.
