cannot view site on the LAN

  • Hi folks

    Well I am a newbie at wordpress so please forgive me if I am asking a stupid question.

    I have set up the blog on the localhost of my pc and view it locally via xampp at localhost.

    I wanted to debug the blog, and to make sure it validates prior to upload to the webserver. Well when I type: pcname/blogname on another pc connected via LAN all I see is the unstyled XHTML?

    Am I doing something wrong with the code or is this normal?
