• Since updating to v3.3.2, I can no longer see my installed plugins.
wp-admin/plugins.php returns a blank page. If I look at updates, it lists my plugins which need to be updated.
I need to know how to recover and how to prevent this happening again.

Before updating, I backed up using “BackupWordpress” plugin but now cannot activate it again as I cannot find it!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

Thanks for the response. I would like to do the first suggestion, but cannot operate on the plugins as I cannot list them. How can I deactivate them if I cannot list them?

I will try the other suggestions.

    Sorry. Try suggestion 3.

I’m having a very similar problem. The FTP reset didn’t work, and the plugins page tells me that I “do not appear to have any plugins available at this time.” Yet the plugins are absolutely there when I look at my files via FTP.

Has something happened in the WP table that governs the plugin names/attributes in this new version?
