Hi @omc123, thanks for reahing out!

Although we provide reCAPTCHA and 2FA as part of the Login Security section of Wordfence, sharing these functions between Wordfence and another plugin could be problematic in some cases. One such way is if the other plugin expects its data in a different format or field name to the one Wordfence might look for.

Are you able to use reCAPTCHA and login successfully with Wordfence temporarily disabled? It’s just that I don’t have enough information to determine whether the reCAPTCHA plugin is correctly configured with the right Google credentials and website URL from the supplied error message.

If it does, it’s also worth checking whether Wordfence with 2FA enabled works with the reCAPTCHA plugin disabled?

    Thanks,
    Peter.

Sorry, I din’t know that Wordfence also has reCAPTCHA for login and register page. Now in that plugin page I disabled reCAPTCHA for login and register, enable only for comment and use your option for reCAPTCHA in stead.

Are you able to use reCAPTCHA and login successfully with Wordfence temporarily disabled? With Wordfence disabled, I notice that this error still exists and I have to play with the login button for a few times before I can login, don’t know why. I already reported to the plugin author.

Nothing wrong with Worfence as now I use your option for reCAPTCHA v3 together with 2FA, now works fine.

    Thank you.

I’m a longtime user of Wordfence and all is running well, with the exception of the Recaptcha for WooCommerce feature which has never worked/displayed on the checkout page or elsewhere. In fact I forgot I even had it installed.

Recently I tried a new plugin to add a Recaptcha to the WooCommerce checkout page, Google Recaptcha for WooCommerce. After quite a bit of exploring, I discovered that the two plugins were trying to do the same thing, and resulting in a ‘frozen’ login page which would never show the WordFence 2FA challenge.

Now, by turning off the Recaptcha option in WF, the other plugin works perfectly, and the Recaptcha does indeed appear as expected on the login and/or WooCommerce Checkout page.

My question is, would it be better to have this feature run by WF (at least to stop WF reminding me that Recaptcha is now off). And, if so, if I deactivate Google Recaptcha for WooCommerce and re-enable that feature in WF, how can I make it actually work?
