I just created a new website and I tried to edit using Elementor.
But it was not working. I cannot see the choice of column.
And I cannot drag and drop the widget into the section. It seems the features are locked.
Even I used the template, I found the same problems.
    What is the problems?

  • What theme are you using and what are the other plugins that are active if any?

I am using twenty sixteen including child theme from elementor.
Since this is a new website, there only elementor plugin that already installed.
I can go to the editing page with the elementor features there. But I cannot use it.
It’s like something locked the features and I cannot use it.

Try going to https://yourdomain.com/page-name-here/?elementor and see if that would bring up the editor. (Replacing domainname and page-name-here with actuals).

So a MySQL version is 5.5.51 won’t work? I’m with BlueHost running the Zermatt Theme from ccssigniter and Elementor just won’t load. The little black dots just go and go and go. BlueHost confirmed that on a shared server I won’t be able to get the MySQL to 5.6. The rest of the requirements I meet.

Did finally get an error but it was just “undefined.”

Is it possible to move sections to different positions by drag n drop.

I found the solution by accident. I use Mozilla and all problems are gone.
I used explorer when I faced the problems.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello,
I installed Elementor on my localsite. During the installing of the site with Wamp64, I was agree with the using of Internet Explorer. At the end it was not possible to use Elementor.
After a second installation procedure, now with Mozilla, it is possible to use Elementor.

    with regards,
    Henk
