Cannot use Publish edit links

    Since a couple of days ago, my wife and I are unable to use the “edit” links on the Publish section of the post editing page (the ones where you select when you want your entry to be published, its status and its visibility). When you click on it, it just doesn’t do anything except reopen the page. Since this happened on both our computers, and both in IE and Firefox, we’re really wondering what’s going on. Anyone else having this problem?

    (I don’t know how to check my WP version- I looked at the instructions given on this forum but I didn’t have any of that)

    Anyone know the solution to this one? It’s preventing me from adding more posts to my blog, and I’ve got a huge backlog. Any help would be appreciated.

    One possible fix would be to upgrade WordPress. Also deactivate all of your plugins. The easiest way to do this is to rename the wp-content/plugins folder. If you do both the deactivation of plugins and upgrade it should fix your problems. Then you can add your plugins back carefully testing to make sure it doesn’t break anything.

    Problem resolved by clearing the cache and cookies.
