I just installed PayPal Donations and am trying to use my own button. I’ve selected “custom” but when I hit Select Image or put the url of the image in the box, I get the following error message:

    Cheatin’ eh?

    Invalid item ID.

    Any ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, can you share the URL you added to the custom button field?

By the way the URL you shared above says that your site is under construction. So no one can see what the issue is in your site. Just thought of letting you know.

    Thank you

    Hi

    The URL is https://badmedicine.ca/wp-content/uploads/Donate-Button-for-Paypal-copy.png

Seeing the site wouldn’t help. There is nothing to see. The point is that I can’t get settings In PayPal Donations to accept any custom image.

    Thanks for your help.

Hi, I just carried out a test using your URL above and it worked in my testing site.

Can you carry out the following.

Disable all of your other plugins except this one, then carry out a test.

Let me know how you go.

    Regards

    HI

If I disable all plugins but this one, it will accept the image. I’ve run out of time to work on this tonight. If I have any more problems, I’ll be back in a few days.

    Thanks for your help.

Hi, that means that there is a plugin conflict. So what you can do is start enabling one by one your other plugins and at the same time carrying out a test until you come across the conflicting plugin.

    Regards
