Cannot use other charge cards

    Hello support.
    I am testing on a localhost. I am using The Events Calendar 4.6.2, WOO Commerce 3.2.1 and PayPal Events 1.0.3. I create an event with tickets using WOO Commerce with a price per ticket. When I open the event, I can select the number of tickets and then “Add to Cart”. I click “Proceed to checkout”. However, when I get to the Checkout page, I have a button that says “Proceed to PayPal”. This takes me to a “Pay with PayPal” page where I have to login. I want to be able use any charge card without having a a PayPal account.

    DO you have any ideas?

    Hi @mysticbay,

    Unfortunately, this is a question that we cannot answer. The only way we use WooCommerce and PayPal is through our Event Tickets Plus plugin, but it sounds like you are setting up something custom.

    I’d recommend reaching out to WooCommerce or adding more payment gateways to your WooCommerce Settings, such as Stripe.

    Hi Jaime.
    I was using the PayPal plugin. I thought it had a path where you could pay using a charge card instead of having to create a PayPal account but I can’t that solution.

    I have the option to use stripe so I think I will try it.
