Thanks a lot for your contribution. But png, jpg, doc etc are all added as file extensions for pdb. Any other ideas please?

There are two settings which can affect what kind of file can be uploaded. The global “Allowed File Types” setting and in the individual field definition in the “values” parameter.

The way this works is it looks for a match in the filename extension, it doesn’t really know what kind of file it is.

Is this with a particular file or is it with any file you try?

Thanks for your reply. It is with any image I try to upload. The image upload does not work. Am I supposed to put the file format on the values field in the individual field definition? Thanks for your reply so fast. I really appreciate. Please check it out via this link: https://gamint.edusites.org/pensioner-data-entry-page/

Defining the allowed files in the field definition is optional, you don’t need to put it there unless you want a particular upload field to only allow certain types that might be different from the global setting.

I would suggest trying a setting like this in the upload field definition “values” parameter:

    jpg,jpeg,gif,png

with nothing else in there but that.

I can’t do that, I can only help you fix the problem.

It looks like your “Allowed File Types” setting is incorrect. What do you have for that setting?

Make sure the “values” setting of your image upload field is completely blank.
