cannot upload image

  • Hello Anders, I have some problems in uploading images.

    When I try to add an image through the block on a post I get the error “The response is not a valid JSON response”.

    If I try to add the image through the media library I get “Post-processing of the image likely failed because the server is busy or does not have enough resources. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2500 pixels.”, but this is a small image less than 100 pixels.

    What can I do?

    Hi @johnsera2016,

    Lovecraft doesn’t affect either media uploads or the block editor JavaScript directly, so this is likely an issue with either plugins or your server. You can try switching to a different theme and check if the issue persists to make sure.

    Either way, I’d start by trying to deactivate your plugins one at a time to see if that resolves the issue. If not, I’d get in touch with your host and let them know about the error you’re getting when uploading in the media library.
