• Currently, I am able to upload files in the Files tab, but when I go to a Task and you see ‘Subtask’ then ‘Discussion’ then ‘Files’ i want to go over to files and upload a file to this task (this kind of feature was my main purpose for buying the plugin). Currently it is not working, the Files tab is there for each task, but even for users with file upload privileges, even the administrator, clicking the Upload button doesn’t do anything for these tasks. I am unable to upload a task specific file. Please tell me how to solve this.

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch and my apologies for the trouble you are experiencing.

I haven’t been able to replicate this issue, so I am assuming this might be due to a conflict with something on the site.

To determine if this is the case, and to find a solution, could I kindly ask if you could send me a screenshot of the JavaScript console on the page that it is not working after clicking on the button that isn’t working correctly?

The console can be opened by right-clicking on the page and clicking on the Inspect Element option and then clicking on the Console tab.

This will be a major help, and I look forward to your response and helping to get this resolved as soon as possible.

    Kindest regards,

    Dylan

    Hello,

I have the same problem. Uploading files to tasks is impossible. Clicking the button does not trigger anything. I found this issue several times on this platform, however none of these postings included a solution. When I open the console in my browser after clicking on the upload button, I see an error message (see below). Does this give you enough information to find a solution?

The message in the console shows the following text:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) ….https://mag.local./wp-content/plugins/zephyr-project-manager/assets/js/socket.io.js.map

    (p.s. my website is mag.local)

Same issue with the Pro-Version. i can’t upload a image to a task. Upload-Button has no effect to place a image!

    Console shows this errors:

      1. Multiple form field elements in the same form have the same id attribute value. This might prevent the browser from correctly autofilling the form.To fix this issue, use unique id attribute values for each form field.

    Hi @arkpad99, @itriz and @petersauber2017,

My sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by this.

I have managed to find the cause of this issue and it is now fixed in the latest updated version of the plugin.

Could I kindly ask you to install the update and confirm if this fixes the issue as expected?

Note: If you are using any caching plugins, the cache might need to be cleared for the updated files to be used.

I hope this helps and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Sorry again for the trouble, and thanks for your time.

    Kindest regards,

    Dylan

I am experiencing the same issue. Cannot upload files into a task. I appear to be running version 4.0.0 of this plugin.

More information. I have to upload upload files to the Media Library. Then upload them to ZP’s files page. Then upload them to a task. These are jpg files. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Robin,

Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the trouble you are experiencing.

You mentioned that the version is 4.0.0, which is a custom version I sent previously, and it hasn’t been fully released live yet with all it’s changes.

So I just sent you an email with the updated version 4 to confirm if this resolves the issue?

All the changes will be released in the next major release which I am busy working on.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue. Thank you.

    Kindest regards,

    Dylan
