• This is a brand new wordpress installation. I already have an existing wordpress installation on the same server under a different directory going to a different database, so it’s nothing to do with my host.

    I’ve already switched to default 2015 theme, turned off all plugins, cleared my cache and tried different browsers.

    I’ve already gone in and changed the permissions on wp-content and uploads to 755 and 777 and neither did anything.

    It just keeps saying “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” no matter what I do. Even making a tiny custom test image with example.jpg doesn’t work.

    Why does wordpress have to make image uploads so crazy difficult sometimes?
