• Hi,
could someone please tell me why I cannot upload any image (doesn’t matter if it is a foto or something else).
The problem is independent from the Theme I use.
    Thank you!

    sorry, this is the Webside:
    https://www.oiip.ac.at/resilience-governance/

I have this problem 2 months and wait that someone help!
    my site: https://www.medjimurje.info/

I change permission on 777 from wp-content to folder uploads/09 and now works!

    Can you be more specific?

Is the image you are trying to load part of a post or background and what is the file extension?

How are you trying to load the image and what happens when it fails?

Please be careful on 777, as you might not want that folder open to changes from anyone.

Probably OK to do short term, but a good idea to change it back once you are done uploading.

Please see this link on permissions and the dangers of 777:

    Thanks for advice!

Thank you and sorry for being unspecific!

I tried to upload 2 fotos in the mediathek for the “who is who section”. They are not larger than they are supposed to. (8 kb and 101 kb)
I also tried to upload a background image, which I drew from the internet, also not larger than it is supposed to (188 kb)

When I’m trying to load the image it tells me “there is a problem now, please try again later”

Can you or anyone halp anyhow?

Thanks for the update, it helps troubleshoot the possible causes.

I am assuming the file permissions are OK. Have you loaded pictures from this computer and to this web site before?

Can you load pictures to the Media Library?

Have you looked at Settings > Media to check the width & height allowed?

No it was never possible to upload anything. I just realized, I can’t even upload a PDF.

I tried to upload pictures/pdf to the Media Library, to the Side directly or through an URL – none of it works.

Settings max size is 1024 to 1024 in pixels that should match it.

But as I got the same problem with pdfs i suppose it is a different problem?

Also there is a question mark at the top of the page I just can’t remove, if you got any idea about that, it would be helpful, too…

If you aren’t able to upload anything, it definitely sounds like a permission issue or the (in)ability to reach the storage location. Are you in Linux, Mac or Windows?

For the ?, it shows up for me on Chrome, but not Firefox or Opera. If you look in your code, the ? shows up in the body, right after the opening body tag:

    ‘<body class=”home blog custom-background”?

    <meta charset=”UTF-8″>’

No, sorry, they are in the Media Library and they are also on the Server. I just don’t know how to relocate them to the particular pages.
I also communicated with the Server guys and they said, that’s not on them.

I am in Windows. What means an inability to reach the storage location? and how can I fix that?

if I click on “add from mediathek” it doesn’t show me the content
