Cannot Upgrade from 1.9.13

  • I cannot upgrade from 1.9.13 to 2.0.40. The operation fails and then WordPress cannot reactivate the plugin, and it is removed from the list. Had to upload files to get 1.9.13 working again.

    Will I ever be able to upgrade to a current working version? I’m still on 1.9.13 because newer versions have failed to work on this site.

    You don’t give any information to answer this question.
    Read here, and give additional information as your server php memory limit.
    Also, if the problem is the upload, you can try it manually via FTP.
