I’m trying to update from 3.0.2 to 3.2.0.

We get the error: Update failed: Download failed. Forbidden

This same error happens on a different site where we have the plugin installed as well.

Both sites are hosted on Flywheel.

    Thank you!

    Hi @humanatv,

Are you getting this issue with the free version of the plugin?

    Yes, the free version.

    Hi @humanatv,

Are you getting this error with the MPG plugin only? Have you tried to update any other plugin in your dashboard?

    (@humanatv)

Only with the MPG plugin. All other plugins are updating.

    Hi @humanatv!

Does deleting the plugin, then reinstalling and activating it again help?

I manually updated to 3.2.0 and now just tried to update to 3.3.0. It still failed. I get the error: Update failed: Download failed. Forbidden

Hello, I just cleared transients and am still not able to update the plugin via the WP plugins area.

    Hi @humanatv,

I’d recommend you please check with your hosting provider about why are you facing this issue. It’s something related to your server or WordPress instance.

If nothing works, delete the existing plugin and install a fresh version of it.

?Let us know if we can help with anything else.
