Cannot update .htaccess

  • Hello!

    I just downloaded Wp Super cache in the hopes of speeding up my bwoser caching, however I’m getting the following error within the plug in : “cannot update .htaccess

    My initial though was that one of my security plugins (I use iThemes security & Wordfence) were maybe blocking it. However, i found what i thought would be the relevant section in themes “remove file writing permissions” and unchecked it. Still no luck.
