{Plugin: Akismet] Cannot update Akismet plugin

  • Cannot update Akismet plugin, it says:

    Update Failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.

    May be connected to another problem. I was getting this error:

    Fatal error: Cannot call overloaded function for non-object in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas02_data03/12/2808712/html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 525

    The second problem became corrected when the Gravity Forms plugin was deactivated – although Gravity Forms says their plugin was not the cause…

    Now I cannot install Akismet.

    Anyone know how to solve this?
