There are different possible causes, most of them related to server settings, like insufficient file permissions, not enough allocated memory, etc.
Do you have tried to install the plugin manually? You can download the zip file directly from the plugin page and install it manually:
1. Go to the Plugins settings page on your website.
2. Deactivate the current plugin copy and click on the “Delete” link. This action does not affect the existing players.
3. Press the “Add New” button at the top of the plugins section.
4. Press the “Upload Plugin” button and select the zipped file downloaded from the plugin page.
5. Finally, install and activate the plugin.
