Cannot Uninstall Completely Cookiebot

    Hello,

    it seems there is no previous discussion on that.

    For testing pusrposes i did uninstall cookiebot and noticed two cookies still appearing.

    Then i cleared all my database from any obvious cookiebot remaining.

    And although there is no obvious sign at all of any cookiebot script in my database i still see the two cookies coming from consent.cookiebot.com and beeing present in my blog.

    I pull my hair and i am ready to change my wp theme…

    Hi @taratoo

    Thanks for reaching out!

    It seems that the website in question does use Cookiebot, thus the cookies are set. We can see that Cookiebot is used because the banner appears when loading the website.

    Did you remember to update your cache after uninstalling the plugin?

    Thank you for your speedy Sunday reply!

    You are right.

    At that time i was installing/uninstalling the plugin.

    The real cause of my trouble was identified earlier today by Brian from Cookiebot who opened my eyes by emailing me that i had a “custom script” forgotten….

    So, thank you for your excellent support and keep up the good work
