cannot enter number in number field on iPhone

    Hello,

    I found a problem that it is not able to enter number in the number field on iPhone. It will show “0” by default and when I enter some number on it, it will become 0123 and return to 0 at last. I’m not sure it’s a bug? or there’re some mistakes in the settings. Thanks!

    I hope you are doing good today.

    I asked one of my teammates to replicate this on our lab site and by using iPhone we are not able to replicate this issue.

    Could you export your form and share it on google drive or dropbox, and share a link in your next reply so that we could review your form and test it on our side.

    Also, in mean please run this test:
    Please deactivate all plugins except Forminator and check if the problem is gone. If so, then enable all plugins one by one and find which one is having a conflict. If there is no positive result, switch to the default WordPress theme like 2019, and see if it works.

    Before this test, we recommend full site backup or running this test on the staging site.

    I’ve tried to disable all plugins and use the theme twenty twenty, but the situation is the same.

    Could you please let us know which iPhone, OS version and browser you are using?

    I tested this on my lab site and on your site, I do see the zero by default but when I type the number it is replaced with the correct number.

    Hello,

    I’m using iPhone 12 pro max and the OS version is 16.0

    I tried both on Chrome and Safari. I uploaded two videos in the shared folder, one is on chrome, the other is on safari.

    (I also tried it on iPad, and it works well. So it seems something wrong with the OS?)

    Hi @websterhung,

    Thanks for pointing it out, it seems like the issue is specific to the OS version. We are able to replicate it with OS version 16.0.

    I’m reporting this to our developer’s attention so that this can be looked at asap.

    The conflict seems more specific with “Formatting”, so as a workaround, you could try changing the format of the Number field to its default and see whether it helps.

    It works when the seperator set to default 123456.00
