Hi, I’m on latest v0.43 and noticed that the formatting of my form has changed. So I check the CSS but no matter what I put in the “Custom GForm CSS” with “Enable custom WordPress Google Form CSS” enabled, it has no effect. I unchecked “Enable default WordPress Google Form CSS”, then click on “Save Changes”. It says “Settings saved.” but the option “Enable default WordPress Google Form CSS” remains checked. It seems this option is stuck. Any idea what I can do to fix it? Thanks!

I just ran through some tests with in my Development Environment and on my own site and I am not seeing this behavior. If you look at this form on my site you’ll see the Submit button is styled using Custom CSS.

Do you use the prefix attribute in your gform short code? If so, that might be the issue as there were some bugs in the implementation which I fixed.

If you want to fill our my Help and Support form I’d be happy to look at your form and see if we can figure it out.

Thanks for the quick reply, Mike. My bad, I goofed. :-/ I tested again and I can confirm Custom CSS works. I guess I got confused because the option “Enable default WordPress Google Form CSS” cannot be disabled. Is that normal?

You’re right – it won’t turn off. That is odd, all of the checkboxes use the same processing logic. I am not sure why it is happening but I will take a look at it later this morning.

I’ve released an update which fixes the problem when trying to turn off settings which are on by default.

Thanks Mike! I’ve tested and it works now. You’ve fixed it, and you’ve done it so quickly. Kudos! ??

    Hi Mike!

I’m using version v0.53 and I seem to be having the same issue disabling the checkbox. My form is: https://www.liteworkevents.com/wpgforms/rsvp-for-summer-in-the-city-rooftop-after-work-mixer

I cannot change the “required” text or the “submit” button to green, and I cannot seem to center the form.

I tried updating the CSS by checking the box for “Custom wpGForm CSS” under the settings options, and the box stays checked, but I can’t uncheck “Enable default WordPress Google Form CSS”. Whenever I try to and hit “Save changes”, it reverts back to the default so I’m assuming the default is overriding my changes?

Please help. I really appreciate your plugin so I hope there’s something I can do!

    Thanks

    Hi Mike!

Same problem here, the Enable default WordPress Google Form CSS checkbox stays ticked..

I guess that means that Custom CSS won’t take effect?

Please respond with a fix to this issue.

I must have missed this problem when it was first posted as I am not familiar with it. I am just about to release a new beta update so I will look at this before I do.

What version of the plugin are you using currently?

I can confirm the problem – it happens with all of the checkboxes which are on by default. Obviously a problem with my default logic.

I have fixed the problem with the checkboxes and published a beta release. If you want to try it, you can download it from my site.

Thanks for looking into it Mike!

I will download the beta release.
