See reCAPTCHA (v3) and double-check you have correct configuration.

As far as I know, I am not using a reCAPTCHA of any sort. I certainly have not downloaded or installed a plugin for it.

The only plugin I’ve even installed is “Really simple CAPTCHA” v2.0.1 ~ written by you. I am using that (successfully) on other sites I run. Here, it is installed but not activated.

I followed the link you sent (https://contactform7.com/recaptcha/) and I could not find the example.. Ah! You are force-feeding us the Google reCAPTCHA behind the scenes, without a separate plugin. Apparently this is now a requirement for this version of Contact Form 7. I understand why everyone wants to roll back a version.

I registered reCAPTCHA (v3), obtained keys, and found they were successfully added to the WordPress panel.

I reloaded the page (and, I assume, the form). No Joy: Same error message with the orange box.
