Cannot tag new posts in latest WP version

  • I’m having problems tagging new posts in WP 3.4.2. I enter tags in the tag box, but then I get my attempted tax with a red x to the side. I had this problem with 3.4.1, too. What’s going on? Am I doing anything wrong? The tag function worked fine in versions before 3.4.1.

  • Have you tried deactivating all your plugins and switching to the default theme?

    Yes. I took out everything, and it still does not work.

    I guess I should say I didn’t take out Akismet, because I’ve never had a problem with that plug in before. I prefer to keep it since it weeds out spam comments and trackbacks.
