• Recently, we have encountered issues with readers being unable to share our WordPress-generated articles on LinkedIn. I used LinkedIn’s post inspector tool and it yielded this result: Unable to connect to server. Bad DNS, bad gateway, or invalid server address. I am not tech-savvy; my job is editorial director, and between this and not having our brand show up in search engine results, it has become pretty frustrating. The SEO issue aside, what steps can I take to enable readers to share our content on LinkedIn, Facebook and other social media platforms? Thank you for your time and patience.

  • Hi,

    I would check if something on your site is blocking the LinkedIn bot. It might be blocking search-engine bots too.

    This could be caused by a security plugin or an external service such as cloudflare.
