    Hi,

I’m very new to website development and I know very little about all of this. I originally created a WordPress.com site but then decided to move over to www.remarpro.com. I then deleted my WordPress.com website and account.

Now that I have my site running on Bluehost using WordPress, I cannot setup Jetpack. After I click the setup button, I’m given two options: Continue with WordPress.com or Continue with Google.

If I choose WordPress.com, I cannot login because my account was deleted. Using the account recovery tool results in a do-loop of telling me to recover a lost password, which doesn’t work or website doesn’t exist and asks if it’s on www.remarpro.com. The form never submit even when I supply all the necessary information. I haven’t found another way to contact anyone at WordPress.com because it appears you need an account to contact them. I even attempted to create a new account using the same information but it tells me the email is not available.

When I click Continue with Google and attempt to login using my gmail, I get the following message “An account with this email address already exists. Please log in using your WordPress.com email and password.”

How do I resolve this? Can anyone help?

    Thanks,

    Kelly

I found a way to contact WordPress.com at [email protected]. I’m waiting on a reply to see if they can recover my account. I think that will resolve the JetPack issue.

In order to connect Jetpack, you’ll need a WordPress.com account.

You can either register a new WordPress.com account, or reply to the account deletion confirmation email to recover the deleted account (within 30 days of deletion).

Does not help. I am having the same issue. I created a new wordpress.com account. It shows Jetpack there, but not on the actual website which is with a hoster (not wordpress). Even on the wordpress com account, the word jet pack shows up and elsewhere it shows it is activated, but nope, cannot find any of the options. Something is hinky here and I have run out of ideas.
