• Hello there,

I’m having difficulty setting a static page as my website homepage. I have read some of the other posts on this forum about other people having similar issues but unfortunately their solution has solved my issue.

I have tried setting a static homepage two ways but neither of them “stick” once I press Publish. The first way is through the Appearance/Customize/Homepage Setting control. I select a homepage and press Publish. Then when I go to preview the root of my site (www.barryandtheblasters.com) it doesn’t show any page content. The second control I found is under Settings/Reading/Your homepage displays –> static page. The result is the same, the setting doesn’t “stick”. By that I mean if I go back into the Settings/Reading the control reverts to the default “your latest post”.

I’ve also tried disabling all of my plugins but that hasn’t had any effect.

    Any suggestions?

    THEME COFFEE MONKEY

    Howdy!

It sounds like the theme you currently have active could be playing a part in that. Have you tried switching themes to see if that resolves the issue?
