cannot set static frontpage

  • I try to set a static page as a frontpage but every time after I set and save the settings it turns to show the latest post as a front page. What can I do to fix it?Any suggestion are welcome.

    The University Hub theme does support the display of “Static Front Page” on front page.

    Please make sure that in your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Static Front Page you have chosen to display “A Static Page” on the “Front Page Displays” option. Also, verify that the static page has been chosen from the dropdown option for the front page.

    If the issue is not resolved, please provide us your website URL so that we could inspect your website and suggest further fix.

    I am so sorry I could not catch your message earlier.
    There are somehow cache somewhere I guess. The problem remain although I did your suggestion in addition trying different solution too. Chrome does not illustrate changes well while firefox does. Safari also reacts same as firefox.
