Cannot set my status to Online – Jquery problem?

  • My status stays offline when i click the checkbox in the admin menu bar

    I get an error when checking in inspector
    Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(…).live is not a function

    in:
    mydomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wplivechat-menu-settings&wplc_action=save_settings&nonce=af51b49ed9

    the plugin is Version 9.0.17
    and I run wordpress 5.5

    can somebody help me please?
