cannot set by default user role

    Hi!
    Since I installed this plugin, I added various user roles, and deleted the default ones from WP leaving only Administrator + my custom roles.

    I want the new user when registers to get automatically a custom role (“Client”) but instead he/she gets “None”

    (The role Client is set as the default when someone registers)

    How could I solve this?

    Hi @barbitania

    Could you confirm that the “New User Default Role” option in the Settings → General section is set to “Client”? If that doesn’t work, maybe there is some plugin or theme conflict. Please deactivate all your plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate all plugins one by one to see which one cause that issue. You can also switch your current theme to the default WordPress theme temporarily and see if this helps.
