• It seems like everything is working fine – I installed the plug-in and the mailfix and added two email addresses. When I published a post, the ‘info’ page shows when the mail will be sent…except that none of the accounts receive anything.

    I should note that I’m on a company network running WordPress off of my computer. Could that be the root of the problems? Otherwise, I’m stumped.

  • Most likely your company blocks outbound smtp connections because that don’t want congest their networks with spam infested traffic. Get yourself a decent host and then try again.

    Once the post isn’t listed anymore the mail went out via the WP mailssystem. This uses the php-mail command. And that depends on your server configuration. So this is the place to look.

    Ah, well my company wants to set up a blog-type page where people on our team can upload/download files. We were seeing if we can send an email notification to everyone when something new is posted. So it’s not the fault of the plug-in, it’s probably something within our network.
