We are having issues selecting multiple organizers in the latest version of the plugin, 3.11.2, and are not able to actually enter more than one organizer as the form behavior is broken when the Add New Organizer link is clicked. Rather than try to explain everything with text I did a quick screen capture of the behavior we are experiencing.

Unfortunately we are not in a position to disable all the other plugins we have installed at this point so I have been unable to test for any potential conflicts there, but no errors are being displayed in the console and everything else works correctly.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

  • Hey @maymond,

I’m both sorry to hear about this happening on your site, and for the frustration related to it, and also really grateful for your efforts in making that screen capture to illustrate the problem – awesome! ??

I cannot recreate this problem on my own test site, not any of them, which does unfortunately make me suspect that there’s a problem here stemming from a conflict with theme or plugins.

I know you mentioned not being being able to disable other plugins – in the meantime, if possible, you should still hopefully be able to activate a default theme like Twenty Thirteen or something at least. If you can, activate it and see if this behavior is affected at all.

If activating a default theme does not seem to help, then I’m curious –?could it be at all possible for you to leave the theme active, and then perhaps in “off-hours” of your site traffic try some plugin deactivation tests? No worries if this is still not feasible –?just curious.

    Thanks,
    George

    George,

Darn, I knew it was a long shot that the error could easily be replicated but I figured it was worth a try. Thanks for taking the time to look into the problem. We’ll have to figure out a time when we can start turning off plugins safely, or hopefully set up a dev site to test on. If we find any conflicts I’ll let you guys know.

    Thanks,

    -Ray

Right on, thanks for the heads up @maymond and please do keep us posted!

Finally was able to find out what was going on. The conflicting plugin is QuickBooks Point of Sale 2013 Connector for WooCommerce version 1.3.0, and the specific conflict is probably the fact that they are calling the JQuery Chosen plugin for their settings page select boxes.

    Hey Maymond,

Thanks for following up here and adding this additional information!

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

    Thanks!
