• My site is currently returning a 522 error, whenever I try to login or veiw it. I cannot see the front and also cannot login into the backend. Seems to be to many requests going on. I have tried database repair and it says ok apart from this table:

    wp_woocommerce_termmeta: Table ‘blah-blah.wp_woocommerce_termmeta’ doesn’t exist

    Any ideas on how I can get into the backend at least?

  • Hi @g-olly,

    In order to carry out further investigation, can you please answer the following questions:

    1. Where is the website hosted?
    2. What is the URL of your website?
    3. What is the exact error message you are seeing and does this happen always?
    4. When did this start happening ? Did you update anything ?

    Hi Tanveer, thanks for getting back in touch. It seems as if this error was being generated by CloudFlare timming out on connection. I have got passed it at the moment by disabling the CDN and serving straight from my host server. It seems (on research) that this can be for a few reasons, most notably that the connection is getting blocked by a firewall or a plugin is causing too many requests. I have asked my hosts to whitelist all of the CloudFlare IPs, if this does not sort out the issue it maybe a plugin causing it, in which case I will have to find the offending plugin to sort it out.

    If this is the case, do you know of any plugins that quantify MySQL requests apart from the P3 one (as this doesn’t seem to have been updated for a while)?

    Thanks

    @g-olly,

    Firstly, bravo to your diagnosis ! I think you hit the nail there. I have never had to deal with CloudFlare yet so I do not know a list of plugins that do not co-operate with that unfortunately. However, I did some research for you and while I am not sure if you have seen these articles but I think they are a good read for anyone using WordPress with CloudFlare:

    2. https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/227634427

    Hope they are helpful.
