cannot see ecommerce impressions in GTM

    Hi,

    On a product listing page, I see the dataLayer in the console correctly has the ecommerce attribute. But if I look at the GTM Debug window, all the other attributes in the dataLayer are there, but the ecommerce variable is missing. Again, this seems to be just on the product listing page where the impressions are being tracked.

    I spoke with Simo Ahava on this, and he seems to think that the ecommerce attribute is being written to the data Layer without the dataLayer.push() statement, so something like dataLayer[0][‘ecommerce’] = {something};

    If that is the case, then GTM will not see that variable. Any thoughts on your side?
