Cannot schedule a specific date to send newsletter

  • I set up a newsletter to send out next week and scheduled it for that date. The date then defaulted back to the first of the month instead of the 11th and sent immediately. Can you not select a specific date to schedule newsletter sends for with the free version?

    I believe you want to schedule a standard newsletter and are setting up a Post Notification instead.

    Post Notifications are designed to automatically send your new WordPress posts to your subscribers. You can choose the frequency of this type of campaign, but not a particular date.

    A standard newsletter is just a basic email that you can send it immediately or you can schedule it to be sent at a later time, at a specific date and time. You can see the Schedule option on the last step page before sending the newsletter.

    No we are actually trying to send a newsletter, not set up a post notification. We get to the last step of the schedule option and pick a future date – then it defaults back to the first of the month instead of the selected date. Also, all of the email sends show just the month and year sent – not the actual date. It seems like there’s a bug if the free version is supposed to allow you to select a specific date. This was the first time trying to schedule a newsletter send.
