Error: Could not save marker XML file (/usr/path/public_html/wp-content/uploads/wp-google-maps/1markers.xml) for Map ID 1

I recently migrated my wordpress site, and now the XML file is not saving. I have tried changing permission for the folder using FTP, but the WP Google Maps settings is telling me that this folder does not exist.

    Could you please advise?

    Many thanks!

    Hi
    Yup ??
If you migrated, please make sure that the Marker XML Dir and Marker XML URL are correct in the Maps->Settings page?

Of course! Very silly of me. I’ve updated the URL, so the error message doesn’t appear, but for some reason the marker isn’t showing on the map now. I had set it to bounce previously, and now nothing appears/happens…

    Ah!
Can you put a link to your map so I may debug please?

Oops, apologies, but it seems like the original problem actually isn’t fixed. You were right, I hadn’t updated the URL, but now that I have, I’m still getting the message “This folder does not exist. Please create it.” for the XML directory.
