  • If it works for a small number of variations, but not for a larger number, it could be the value for max_input_vars is too low. This limits the number of variables that can be saved. A symptom is that some variations will save correctly where as others may be truncated.

You can find your current setting at:
    Dashboard > WooCommerce > Status

If its say 1000, the usual value, increase it to say 3000. You may need your host’s techs to do this for you if they have denied their customers access to php.ini

    Hi!

Actually after several hours of debugging it was found that a plugin developed by WooCommerce called “Return & Warranty Requests” is causing this issue.

Even smaller number of variations didn’t work out either so I figured this could be caused by a plugin.

By deactivating the plug-in it seems that issue is resolved during which I understood that it’s caused by this plugin.

Hi @haidermaa – Glad to hear you managed to get to the bottom of that! To help troubleshoot that Return & Warranty Request extension, please open a new support request at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/ and we’d be happy to take a closer look ??
