• My website is https://www.lepantoinstitute.org, and I have the Genesis theme. I have had this website for a year, and suddenly, this weekend, I have been completely unable to save or publish a blog post or webpage that contains a hyperlink or any media at all.

When I try, I get a blank page in firefox that says,

    “The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

In Chrome, the page I get says “ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE”.

GoDaddy is hosting my website, and everywhere I’ve looked on WordPress, they indicate that the problem is with GoDaddy’s servers, and I can’t find any recommended fixes anywhere. I just ended a conversation with GoDaddy where they told me that there is nothing wrong with their server and that the problem is likely either a bad plugin, something wrong with the theme, or corrupt code.

I’ve disabled ALL of the plugins on my website, and that has not resolved the problem. I have tried entering the html manually in a text box, rather than using the visual interface, and that had very limited success.

I don’t know what else to do. Is this specifically a GoDaddy issue, meaning I should take my website elsewhere? How can I fix this issue?

Let me amend one thing in my previous post … the theme is called “Executive Pro Theme.” I think that Genesis is a sub-style of this theme.

I have a same problem too!!!
My server is Godaddy’s linux, I create a new wordpress and it still show “ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE” when I publish posts with images.
I use my friend’s Godaddy linux to create wordpress, then it doesn’t have this problem.
I have no idea how to fix it…
