• I just updated 3 plug-ins and had no difficulties. However, I went in to update a draft for a post. When I tried to save the post I got the error messages below.

Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ‘wpr_edit_post_save’ was given in /home/content/65/5889865/html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 406

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/65/5889865/html/wp-includes/plugin.php:406) in /home/content/65/5889865/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 876

I have no idea how to rectify this problem and cannot save any new posts. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

Thanks, I always forget about deactivating the plugins. I’ve found the problem now need to figure out why this plugin is causing problems now. Thanks for your help with my temporary mind fart.

    What plugin was the culprit?

It was WP Announcer. I can’t even remember why I have it so I’ll have to investigate.
