The system is not allowing my changes to save after selecting the option “Allow this sidebar to be replaced” from a themed sidebar. I’ve tried disabling all other plugins and switched to a default WP theme without any change.

Can you tell me how to manually change this option from within the MySQL DB for any of the themed sidebars or tell me another way to force the save?

  • Hey there AtlantisNet,

    Hope you’re well today!

Sorry to hear you’re having issue with this one ?? I just tested this out on my own installation and had no issues – there’s no save button but it should just save automatically – you can switch pages then go back and it will be saved. Once checked you can set custom sidebars in the primary location via “Sidebar Location” button. I guess that having no save button is a bit misleading.

If that is not the case and the setting are actually not being saved even with all plugins being deactivated and on one of the default WP themes could you please check the JavaScript console for errors?

In Chrome go to “View -> Developer -> JavaScript Console” and in Firefox you can go to “Tools -> Web Developer -> Console”

Find information about how to open JavaScript browser console :

Please let me know if you find anything ??

    Cheers,

Yes, I am getting an error. I took a screenshot of the error and uploaded it to:

Also, I just found out the we are also unable to delete any sidebars created with the widget.

    Hey there AtlantisNet,

You’re getting this error while having no plugins activated and on default WP theme?

Would you mind adding the following to your wp-config.php:

    define( 'WDEV_UNMINIFIED', true )

When done please contact us via our contact form https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/ using this template:
