• I am using WordPress 5.5.1, and I cannot save any setting in the HTTP Headers plugin settings. I just get an error that says an email will be sent to the admin with instructions, but the email isn’t even sent. Is there a problem with this plugin and WP 5.5.1?

    It works fine at my side, both of these:
    – Http Headers 1.8.0, WordPress 5.5.1; Linux/Apache 2.4.x; PHP 5.6 (php-fpm)
    – Http Headers 1.8.0, WordPress 5.5.1; Win/Apache 2.4.x; PHP 7.2 (apache module)

    I don’t known what’s this error or why it happens on your side.

    Hi,

    I am getting the same issue – I want to turn on permissions policy but it errors on save even if I only tick

    More details:
    HTTP Headers Version 1.18.1
    WordPress 5.6, Linux>/Apache 2.4.46, PHP 7.4 (PHP multi-admin, though my shared server says it is on PHP version 5.4.45 – I don’t know what the distinction is)

    Have switched on WP-DEBUG, error message when I only tick Permissions-Policy ‘On’ and ‘accelerometer’: ‘none’ (have [Redacted] my server specific details):

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function switch_to_locale() on null in /[Redacted]/wp-includes/l10n.php:1665 Stack trace: #0 /[Redacted]/wp-admin/includes/misc.php(132): switch_to_locale(‘en_GB’) #1 /[Redacted]/wp-content/plugins/http-headers/http-headers.php(1272): insert_with_markers(‘/[Redacted]/p…’, ‘HttpHeaders’, Array) #2 /home1/[Redacted]/wp-content/plugins/http-headers/http-headers.php(755): update_headers_directives() #3 /[Redacted]/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(289): http_headers_option(‘cron’) #4 /home1/[Redacted]/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(311): WP_Hook->apply_filters(false, Array) #5 /[Redacted]/wp-includes/plugin.php(484): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #6 /[Redacted]/wp-includes/option.php(486): do_action(‘updated_option’, ‘cron in /[Redacted]/wp-includes/l10n.php on line 1665

    There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    Coming here with the same issue, maybe these steps don’t make sense but did it before once because after a few clicks didn’t let me save. So tried:
    deactivating the plugin, adding the original .htaccess file, activate the plugin, and still cannot save.

    This is multisite, is the plugin ready for multisite?

    Is working now, not sure if this is the solution but found that had the plugin open in two windows, closed one, and allow me to save.
