Cannot return to backend after updating to WordPress 4.7

    Hi!

    I do have troubles with updating to WordPress 4.7 “Vaughan”. The updating process always stops when showing the message “Updating the database…”. Then I am unable to return to any page of the backend. When I try to change the page in the backend I get the error message “You must log in to access the backend”. This is strange because I am already logged in and I can see the current updating status which has stopped. However, when I access the website without being logged in, the website works fine.

    Do you have any ideas how to fix that problem?
