Cannot restore site with backup files

    UPDATE: the only way I can get back to admin panel is by renaming the theme / parasponsive folder in FTP (backed up version or new) so this tells me that the theme is causing the white screen of death. Anything I can do other than get advice from the theme maker?

    I resolved this by manually deleting the old version of the theme in FTP and installing the new theme in the WP admin panel…urg…lesson to theme makers – always give very clear update instructions.
