Cannot Remove Woocommerce Shop and sorting

    I have an issue with either the theme I am rolling with (Twenty Seventeen) or just my configuration but I want to display my WooCommerce shop WITHOUT the search results piece that shows up automatically. No matter what I have tried I cannot get rid of the listing of search products and categories. If you look at my page you can see the products I specifically list and then towards the bottom they show again under the search/Sort categories. I tried moving from the default page that was created by WooCommerce plugin and checked different themes but it ALWAYS show the Display Search/Sort with my products. It just looks stupid to have the Default search results displayed when I have everything I need in the shop part above.

    Does anyone else NOT have this issue with WooCommerce plugin? I feel like either I am doing something incorrect or this is just by default and I should get used to it?

    Is your shop page created by adding shortcodes and some text, perhaps? It looks like you’ve set your “shop” page as the Shop page here:

    Which would automatically add your products to the page along with the sorting dropdown. But also added your products and further text on that page. If you prefer to not include the automatically added products, I’d recommend not setting that page as the Shop page in the WC > Settings > Products settings.

    YES!!! That was it! By default I think WooCommerce would create the shop page which did add it to that Settings>Product Settings and I recreated a New Shop Page an just assumed I had to Keep that filled in. I just left that setting blank and now it doesn’t show the additional sorting sections!
