Cannot remove the translate icon even after uninstall!

    Hello
    I installed the plug in and upon activation, decided it does not fit well with my site, so I deactivated and deleted the plug in, but the plugin stays active on my site and is still visible, blocking my shopping cart icon! Please help! Why didn’t it get uninstalled? It is not a cache problem because when right clicking and checking the page source, “gtranslate” is still there in the code! This is a terrible thing, that it cannot be uninstalled properly!

    I do not see anything related to GTranslate on your website currently, so I presume you were able to solve it.

    Thanks for your reply.

    I just wanted to say that even though I fixed my website, I did not resolve the issue. I simply restored my website to a previous version before I installed the plugin. That removed the icon. However I noticed that, when I still had the plug in installed and before I restored to an earl version of my website, when I changed the settings for the plug in so that the icon is on the left hand side and does not block the shopping cart on the right hand side, the changes did not reflect on my website. Only after I deleted the plug in and re-installed, did it appear again with the new settings.

    Either way, the translation icon never went away completely no matter what I did, even after I deleted the plug in, so the band aid solution was to restore the website to an earlier version.

    Hello, I have the same problem.
    But I am not able to restore my previous version. You can check it on umomkraju.rs , right above the header position.
    Please , help!

    As I mentioned earlier, I just restored it to an earlier version. I did this in my hosting control panel (your web hoster)
