Cannot Remove Post Attribution

This is a very neat plugin, but I’d like to make a tweak.
I have removed the byline code completely from the posts, yet when I click the “Share” button, and the little Facebook share page pops up, it includes the entry-meta. (The post title, date, and author)Is there a way to prevent this plugin from sending that information to Facebook? We just want to send an excerpt from the post itself.
