Cannot remove my blog theme’s credit/add?

  • I’m not sure if this is in the right forum, but I am trying to get rid of the “Create new beautiful blogs in minutes” image on the side (that links back to the theme creator’s website). I’ve inspected the element on google chrome and have tried to insert it into the find and replace html plug in I have, but it will not go away. Any suggestions? I am new to wordpress and have no idea how to even start fixing the html.

  • Hi,

    That is not part of the theme.
    It’s in your sidebar and most probably created by a widget from your plugin.

    Please disable one plugin at a time to find out which plugin is producing it.

    The image links back to easyblogthemes.com where my theme is designed by. I checked my plug-ins and none of them appear to be causing it.
