Cannot remove cron event

  • Hi,

    I’m trying to remove wp_split_shared_term_batch from the cron events. Could be a leftover from WP 4.2. It looks like it runs every 2 minutes but the Recurrence says Non-repeating.

    How can I remove this Cron event because I don’t have or going to get any shared terms?

    Thanks for the report.

    If you click the Delete link next to the event and it reappears afterwards, this unfortunately means that WordPress core is re-rescheduling the event.

    I’m not very familiar with the logic around when this event gets scheduled, it might be that the finished_splitting_shared_terms option never got set?
