Cannot redeclare wp_unregister_globals()

  • I have recently upgraded my PHP version to the latest.
    Now I keep getting the following error (once in a few minutes) –
    “Cannot redeclare wp_unregister_globals() (previously declared in …”
    Refreshing solves it only to re-appear again in a few moments.
    I have SBS 2003 with IIS 6 installed (latest service pack)+
    MySQL + latest PHP build (installed manually as ISAPI)
    php.ini – only php_mysql and php_mbstring.dll are enabled.
    register_globals = Off

    Any ideas?

    Only thing I can contribute is that the problem is not specific to the IIS webserver, because I am running Linux (CentOS) and I have the exact same problem — it’s KILLING my blog, it’s a permanent error. I am running WordPress 2.13 with PHP 4.4.6 with MySQL 5.

    Are you by any chance using the WP-Cache plugin?

    I run a search on Yahoo and there are a whole bunch of blogs displaying this exact error message, the search engine crawled the page and found the “Cannot redeclare wp_unregister_globals” error.

    Any more info on this? I am having the same blank page or “Cannot redeclare wp_unregister_globals()” that shuts my site down for several minutes at a time. It’s really damaging my traffic.
