cannot recover password

I just installed a blog using WordPressDirect and HostGator. I can manage my blog using the WordPressDirect cPanel. Here is the problem. When I clicked on the link from the WordPressDirect cPanel to log directly into WordPress, I received an incorrect password error message. When I clicked on the link to reset my password, I received an email with a link to reset the password in my WordPress admin. When I click on that link the WordPress login page opens with this message: Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid. UGH! How can I log directly into my WordPress admin?

PS. I am not sure of the WP version as the blog was an automatic install using WPDirect.
