• Hello.

I’m unable to use this plugin because I cannot “reauthorize” my account. When I click the button to reauthorize I receive a 404 page. “wp-admin/admin.php?page=aweber.php&reauth=true” It simply will not connect. I’m running WordPress WordPress 6.7.1 Please note that I have successfully installed this plugin on another site on the same server. I have tried disabling all plugins, using a different theme, flushing the LiteSpeed cache both through wordpress and on the server. I have even copied the aweber plugin folder from the site where the plugin was successfully installed to the current site. Of course I’ve deleted and reinstalled the plugin. If we can’t find a solution, I’ll have to go with a different plugin but I’ve already spent a lot of time trying to get this to work.

    Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Thank you for working with us directly to dive into this topic. I’ll share the workaround here, so that others who may run into this can benefit until a new update is released to address the issue.

    • In certain circumstances, the link to Reauthorize the plugin to your AWeber account will link to the website root instead of the WordPress site root. This is okay for many installations, but plenty of WordPress sites are installed in a subfolder: “www.example.com/blog” instead of “www.example.com”.
    • The temporary workaround is to edit the URL in your browser address bar: in the example, “www.example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=aweber.php&reauth=true” would become “www.example.com/blog/wp-admin/admin.php?page=aweber.php&reauth=true”

Thanks again for reaching out! I’ll update here once a new version of the plugin is available which will address this issue.
